ABC Diabetes Classes—Achieving Better Control
St. Francis has classes for people with diabetes and their family members.
The series of classes covers:
- What is diabetes?
- Monitoring (free meter included)
- What to eat
- Physical activity
- Standards of care
- Stress management
- Staying healthy
Cost of the classes is covered by insurance. You can attend whether you are new to diabetes, or have had it for a long time. Classes are also offered in Spanish.
